Surprised by Hope operates on two continents that share one vision—freedom from poverty. How we achieve that vision, though, changes according to the context and culture in which we serve.
In East Africa, we provide Christ-centered business education using the asset-based development model. We also foster personal encounters with the love of God through a variety of other means.
In the Cycladic islands of Greece, we create a safe place where broken people can sit down at the table with Jesus. We also serve as a community and first responder chaplain during times of crises.
